Dry weather forecast in Jharkhand for next 48 hours, IMD withdraws fog alert

Jamshedpur, Jan 28: IMD’s Ranchi Meteorological Centre predicted dry weather in Jharkhand for the next 48 hours. The Met Office also withdrew the alert of fog for the next two days.

“Whether would be mainly dry over Jharkhand for the next two days. We have also withdrawn the alert of fog,” said a duty officer at Ranchi Meteorological Centre.

The Western Disturbance as a trough in middle tropospheric westerlies with its axis at 5.8 Km above means sea level was running roughly along Long. 72°E to the north of Lat. 32°N.

In northern parts, a gradual fall in minimum temperature is predicted by (2-3)°C during the next 24 hours thereafter gradual rise by (2-3)°C in the subsequent two days while in the remaining parts of the state no large change in minimum during next three days.

Met statistics suggested that the minimum temperature was hovering between 13 and 16 degrees celsius in different parts of the state during the past 24 hours.
