Ramgarh, March 5: The election for eight wards of Cantonment Board Ramgarh is to be held on April 30. Departmental personnel have become active regarding the preparation of the elections in the Cantonment Board.
District Election Officer cum Deputy Commissioner Madhuri Mishra has appointed PK Dutta Administrative Magistrate Ramgarh as Returning Officer for the Cantonment Board elections.
The Returning Officer reached the Cantonment Board office on Saturday. The RO completed the paperwork in his presence at the Cantonment Board office. During this, he took information related to the election from the Cantonment Board personnel, inspected Cantonment Board offices regarding and took stock of the election preparations made so far.
During this, he also took necessary information from Assistant SN Rao, Office Superintendent Anil Paswan, Sanjay Kumar, and JE Pintu Kumar in the office and gave necessary guidelines to the personnel related to the election.
In Rule 19 (2) of Cantonment Electoral Roll CE ER 2007, the date of filing the application for inclusion of name has been declared from between March 9 And March 13 March till 4 pm. During this period, applications for filing objections for the inclusion of names will be accepted on March 16. Hearing on applications for inclusion of names or objections is reported to be held on March 17 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
