Ramgarh: KGVK commemorates International Women’s Day in Kander

Ramgarh, March 5: Krishi Gram Vikas Kendra (KGVK) in collaboration with HDFC Bank celebrated International Women’s Day on Sunday in Kander village as the part of overall village development project.

The programmw was graced by Kander Panchayat head Ravindra Karmali as the chief guest along with Panchayat Samiti members Punita Devi and Sarita Devi.

During the programme, an awareness rally was organised, where the chief and special guests provided detailed information regarding women’s rights and responsibilities along with women excelling in sports, business, education and agriculture.

Meanwhile, women and teenagers were honoured with bouquets. Moreover, awareness songs and music were presented by women during the programme.

Somen Mahato, Manager, Anup Upadhyay Deputy Manager, Kartik Kumar, Sunil Bedia, Baby Devi, and Gudiya Devi along with others attended the meeting on the behalf of KGVK. The programme was coordinated by Sarita Kumari.
