Ramgarh March 20: Amar Kushwaha and Ranjit (alias Bullet Mahto), the residents of Ramgarh district’s Gola block, have been cleaning their area, which includes rural and marketplaces. Kushwaha and Ranjit took this initiative after having been inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Swachh Bharat Mission campaign.

They formed an organisation named ‘Maa Chinnamastika Trust’. They further connected with the youth of their locality, who regularly go to different areas of their block and volunteer to help and align with the Swachh Bharat Mission.

On Monday, a five-member team set out from Gola for Delhi, equipped with two battery-powered garbage vans and a three-wheeled trolley, to spread the word about their Swachh Bharat Mission.

Amar Kushwaha, Ranjit Mahto, Sudesh Mahto, Tanu Saav, and Manu Mahto, are a five-member team who are heading to Delhi as cleaners. On reaching Ramgarh, the team was greeted at Thana Chowk by social worker Vijay Mewar and BJP’s media in-charge Satyajit Chowdhary.

Amar Kushwaha, the trust’s founder, said, “we will travel 1,280 km to Delhi, cleaning all cities and rural areas along the way, so that the message of cleanliness reaches everyone”.

“At the same time, we are requesting the government to deploy sanitation workers at the block and panchayat levels so that the Prime Minister’s dream of a clean India does not remain on paper but has an impact on the ground.
