Daltonganj, March 25: Banned naxal outfit TSPC’s (Tritiya Sammelan Prastuti Committee) sleeper cell has been cracked in Palamu. Stating this, Palamu SP Chandan Kumar Sinha said the 5 accused Basant, Sanjay, Birender, Chhotu and Sudhir who are the members of the Sleeper Cell of the TSPC, have been caught and jailed today.

As these 5 arrested are of the sleeper cell there was no possibility of weapons with them and hence there is no recovery of weapons, the SP added.

He said these 5 have no case against them which is also a characteristic of the members of the Sleeper Cell. The nameless and faceless create terror and these 5 faceless had burnt 3 tractor engines.

Police have seized 16 leaflets of the TSPC, one bike and 5 cell phones. These 5 are accused of burning 3 tractor engines of the brick kiln of Satyanand Mehta at the Kanda Ghatee on the night of March 20.

The SP had a word of praise for his officers Rishabha Garg and Surjit Kumar and their teams for cracking this Sleeper Cell.

He said the real boss of the members of the Sleeper Cell Shashikant and Ranjan were watching the arson of 3 tractor engines from some distance away while these 5 were setting fire to tractors with bare hands but with sinister minds and motives.
