Jamshedpur, March 29: Acting on a tip off, the Crime Investigation Branch (CIB) of Railway Protection Force, Tatanagar seized 40 e-tickets from a cafe in Baridih market under the Sidhgora thana area.

While carrying out a raid at the cafe — India.Com — the RPF’s CIB team arrested two persons, including the owner of the cafe Ajeet Sharma. Another man arrested in the case was identified as Pritam Kumar who would manage the cafe.

The CIB’s Tatanagar inspector Shailesh Chandra had led the raiding team and had recovered the e-tickets worth Rs 85,000 from the cafe with the cooperation of the Sidhgora thana. Having picked up both Ajeet Sharma and Pritam Kumar, the CIB inspector handed the duo over to the RPF post-Tatanagar where a case under Section 143 of the Railway Act was registered against them.
