Daltonganj, April 6: The Jay Bharat Satyagraha Sabha chaired by AICC (All India Congress Committee) general secretary Avinash Pande, who is also the party’s Jharkhand Incharge, came as a shot in the arm for the Congress men here.
It was Pande who tried hard to enthuse his party leaders and workers asking them to hold as many street corner meetings as possible to highlight how the present rulers of India are disrespecting democracy and mutilating the spirit of the constitution which the world has been hailing for long.
Pande in response to a query said, “Rahul Gandhi is not a victim. He is not at all. He is a crusader. He is fighting for the good of the country and its people. He will fight to the finish.”
Reminded that the Congress has no MP of its own in 16 states of the country then how easy or difficult it is to garner support for Rahul Gandhi or for the Congress party to which Pande said, “The Congress is all out making people aware of the sad happenings unleashed by the present central government. It’s high time now for the public to know where this country and its people are being driven to.”

In reply to a query over the shrinking base of the Congress in Jharkhand, Pande using his political rhetoric said, “We are everywhere. Our Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra of 4,000 kms in 150 days has revived and strengthened our connect with the people.”
The Jay Bharat Satyagraha Sabha held a two-minute silence in memory of Education Minister Jagarnath Mahto who passed away today in Chennai.
State Congress president Rajesh Thakur disallowed bouquet giving ceremony as a mark of respect for the departed soul.
Thakur knew his party men would like to know about the fate of the LIC and the SBI especially in the backdrop of the Adani controversy so he said these two institutions are under tremendous fiscal pressure all because of the profound impact of Adani and Modi.
