Ramgarh, April 25: The Ramgarh traffic police conducted a road awareness campaign on Tuesday morning. This campaign was launched in Patel Nagar. During the campaign, the traffic police presented roses to parents going to school/college without wearing helmets, seat belts and triple riding and requested them to follow road and traffic rules to the letter and spirit.
A similar awareness program will be conducted in the area for a few days from today. Even after this, if any person disobeys the rules, action will be taken against him as per the rules.
After the awareness campaign, the police also addressed the students of Shri Agrasen School. Bhurkunda police station in-charge Amit Kumar said that the main reason for accidents is negligence on the road and disregard for traffic rules. “Children are the future of India. The seeds of culture that are sown in children from childhood are useful throughout their life. There is a need to inculcate a culture of safe behaviour on the road in children from the beginning. If children are aware of road safety, they will play the role of responsible citizens by motivating their parents to follow the rules.”
SI Mayank Prasad said that it is the moral responsibility of all of us to follow the rules related to road safety to control road accidents. “Make your family members and friends aware of traffic rules. An accident can happen to anyone. This causes a lot of damage to the family. If someone becomes a victim of a road accident, take him to the hospital or call the helpline number for immediate help.” Sidheshwar Murmu, Constable Sudhir Kumar, Pratap Singh, Havaldar Sanjay Rai and Armed Forces were present in the campaign.
