Deoghar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s aircraft made an unscheduled landing at Deoghar Airport on Friday due to a technical glitch, causing a delay in his return to Delhi. The PM was returning from an event in Jamui, Bihar, commemorating the birth anniversary of tribal icon Birsa Munda.
Earlier, the PM shared a post on social media platform X, saying, “Bhagwan Birsa Munda’s ideals are a source of pride and inspiration for youth not just in tribal communities but across the nation.”
Rahul Gandhi Faces ATC Delay
Meanwhile, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi also faced delays at Deoghar Airport as his helicopter was not immediately granted takeoff clearance by the Air Traffic Control (ATC).
Returning to Delhi after addressing an election rally in Godda, Jharkhand, Rahul Gandhi had to wait for 45 minutes at Deoghar. During this time, he remained inside the helicopter, reportedly browsing his mobile phone.
The delay caused some inconvenience, as Rahul Gandhi was scheduled to leave from Godda’s Belbadda airstrip but was forced to wait at Deoghar due to the ATC’s hold-up.
