Dhanbad, April 28: Up and down train Ranchi-Vanarasi Express will make a two-minute halt at Khelari railway station of Dhanbad Rail Division from today.
A senior official of Dhanbad Rail Division said that on a trial basis, East Central Railway (ECR) zone has decided to give two minutes halt to train number up 18611 and down 18612 running between Ranchi and Varanasi for the facility of passengers from April 28.
“Two-minute halt at Khelari station has been given for six months from today on a trial basis and it could be extended after review,” said the divisional officer.
As per the notification issued by the authority of the East Central Railway zone train no. 18611 which will kick start at Ranchi railway station for Varanasi would reach Khelari railway station at 23.45 and set off for Varanasi at 23.47.
Similarly, train no 18612 Varanasi- Ranchi Express which will run for Ranchi will reach Khelari station at 23.43 and set off for Ranchi at 23.45.
