Meet Chakulia ( East Singhbhum ) girl Shreya Songiri who topped the state with 98 per cent marks in JAC class X exams, the result of which was declared yesterday.
The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) released both JAC Board 10th result 2023 and JAC 12th Board result 2023 science yesterday.
The 15- year- old girl- Shreya Songiri, a resident of Bajpai Nagar in Chakulia (East Singhbhum) was elated when she came to know about her outstanding performance.
Shreya attributed her success to the support of her parents and the guidance of her school teachers.
“My hard work, blessings of my parents and guidance of my teachers helped me in achieving this feat. I am happy and look forward to achieve my future goals, ” said Shreya talking to this portal.
The state topper said she wants to pursue a career in education and wants to become an ideal teacher.
She had appeared for the examination from Purnapani Adivasi High School in Chakulia, a rural block.
She scored 98 in Hindi, 98 in Sanskrit, 98 in Mathematics, 98 in Science, and 98 in Social Science.
Shreya’s father, Sunil Songiri, works as a tutor, while her mother, Supriya is a homemaker. Shreya is the eldest among two sisters.
Deputy Commissioner (DC) of East Singhbhum Vijaya Jadhav was happy over the outstanding performance of the girl student hailing from East Singhbhum.
She conveyed her best wishes to Shreya in a tweet. “Her outstanding performance is a matter of pride for the entire district, ” she said.
For acknowledging this outstanding feat of Shreya and the top-ranking students from the district, the DC has planned a special felicitation ceremony.
