Hazaribag, June 10: The new Vice-Chancellor (VC) of Vinoba Bhave University (VBU), Ajit Kumar Sinha along with the faculty, head of the department and directors, will solve the problems of the students as soon as possible. Related works will be done keeping in mind the basic needs. All the departments of the campus will be inspected to make available drinking water, electricity, bathroom hygiene and seating arrangements for students and research scholars in the various departments situated in the campus besides facilities in the library and for the internet to work smoothly.
New VC Sinha promised all such facilities for students. He said that the shed inside the campus for the students and parents to sit and the filth around the bicycle and car stand would be cleaned. After the summer vacation, priority will be given to such works so that students can get a healthy educational environment along with facilities for education on the campus.
He said security will be beefed up at both the gates of the university. Common Service Center will start next to the gate. There will be a meeting with the concerned employees and officers in the office of IQAC Cell for all promised facilities at the campus. The works of NAAC will be completed without any delay, he added. It is to be known that the basic needs of the students have not been taken care of in the university campus for long, making Sinha to take steps in this regard.
