Amritsar, June 12: Another Pakistani drone was shot down by the Border Security Force (BSF) in Amritsar, Punjab, near the International Border.
Following a search operation that was started on the outskirts of Shaidpur Kalan village in Amritsar, the BSF troops were able to find the drone on Monday morning.
A drone that was found entirely broken during the search, according to the BSF, was found close to the Gurudwara of the village of Shaidpur Kalan at around 7.20 am.
The 3,323-mile India-Pakistan border is to be guarded by the BSF, which identified the recovered drone as a “Quadcopter of model DJI Matrice 300 RTK series.”
In a combined search operation with the Punjab Police on the outskirts of Rajoke village in the Tarn-Taran district of Punjab, the BSF troops also discovered a drone also on Sunday at around 6 o’clock in the evening.
The drone was found in a farming field nearby Rajoke village, entirely damaged, with a string attached to carry the payload. The recovered drone was also a Quadcopter of the model DJI Matrice 300 RTK series, said an official statement.
