Ranchi, June 17: Bollywood film actress Ameesha Patel surrendered in the Ranchi Civil Court on Saturday in a cheque bounce case. After she surrendered, the court again directed her to appear physically before the court on 21st June.

The court had issued two warrants against Patel. The first warrant was issued on 6 April 2023 and the second warrant on 20 April 2023.

The person who filed a case against Patel is Ajay Kumar Singh, proprietor of Lover World Entertainment. According to him, in 2017 he during a program in Harmu Housing Colony met Ameesha Patel and got an offer to invest in films.

According to the allegations, he transferred Rs 2.5 crore to Patel’s account in the name of making the film Desi Magic but the actress neither worked for the film nor returned the money. After much pressure she issued a cheque which bounced.
