Daltonganj, June 20: Administrative inquiry is on the anvil in regard to the extensive damages to the official vehicle of Pandu BDO Rahul Oraon on Monday.

The BDO’s vehicle fell off a small bridge under the Nawa Jaipur police station territory leading to minor injuries to the three occupants of this vehicle on Monday.

The BDO was not in the vehicle. The Pandu block Nazir was driving it. Two of his acquaintances were with the Nazir when this vehicle met with an accident.

Everyone heaved a sigh of relief that there is no casualty despite this BDO’s vehicle falling off from 14 feet high bridge on the ground and its all four wheels were up towards the sky.

However, the episode has left a trail of anxious questions.

Sadar SDO Rajesh Kumar Sah quoting BDO Rahul Oraon said, ” The vehicle was to go to some nearby garage in Pandu for some repair work but how did it go to Nawa Jaipur police station territory has baffled the BDO much.”

The SDO Sadar further quoting the BDO said, “The vehicle meeting with an accident on such a route not in alignment of Pandu block is a matter of deep concern and anxiety.”

BDO Rahul Oraon, when contacted, first tried to evade the questions, but when given a deluge of questions about his vehicle, he got mellowed down asking for ‘time to reply to these queries. He pleaded that the Nazir is under shock and trauma and so he will wait for him to settle first before taking details of all these.’

Here there is one more twist as intriguing as the first when the BDO vehicle met with an accident on a territory it was not supposed to be negotiating for anything.

The three minor injured showed up at the Pandu government health hub where Dr Sanjay Singh gave them first aid.

Dr Sanjay Singh confirming it said he examined the three. “One had a forehead abrasion. The other two had symptoms of nausea and body ache. All three had pain,” he asserted.

The doctor referred the three to the higher centre MMCH Daltonganj on Monday itself.

However, they did not go to the MMCH Daltonganj.

Palamu DDC Ravi Anand on being contacted said, “The episode is in the cognisance of DC Anjaneyulu Dodde. There will be a full probe into it.”
