Chakradharpur: Teenager drowns in Pump river while bathing

Chakradharpur, June 25: A fifteen-year-old boy died due to drowning in the Pump River located on Pump Road under the Chakradharpur police station area. It is said that on Sunday, Anmol Rai, the fifteen-year-old son of Falu Rai, a resident of Toklo Road, Chakradharpur, had gone to take a bath in the Pump River of Chakradharpur along with his three friends.

Anmol did not know how to swim in the water. He went into deep water while taking a bath. After this, his friends kept searching for him for a long time, but when he could not be found, they informed the people around him. After a while, with the efforts of some people, Anmol’s body was taken out of the river. After this, he was hurriedly brought to the railway hospital where the doctors declared him brought dead.

Here, after getting information about the incident, Anmol’s family and local people reached the railway hospital. Due to this incident, Anmol’s family members were in bad condition by crying.
