Ranchi, July 5: Chief Minister (CM) Hemant Soren today gifted as many as 206 ambulances to the state to improve the health system. Out of 206 ambulances, 51 are equipped with advanced life systems while 131 are equipped with basic life systems.
For the ambulance service he signed an MoU with Smile Foundation.
On the occasion, he also flagged off five medical mobile units, launched Mamta Vahan App, critical illness scheme, Ayushman App and distributed appointment letters among 38 dentists.
Addressing the function organized on the occasion, CM Soren reiterated his commitment to better health care in the state saying he has planned to open medicine shops in each panchayat and to run the same made a provision that it does not require a pharmacist to run it. He said he will soon establish a world class hospital in the state and leave no stone unturned to provide better healthcare in the state.
Those present on the occasion included health minister Banna Gupta, who supported the CM saying that despite attempts to topple the UPA government, the government is intact and successfully working for the betterment of society.
