Deoghar, July 18: The Panda Dharm Rakshani Sabha has demanded to remove the ‘Argha’ kept at the gate of Garbh Grih debarring pilgrims from entering inside Garbh Grih and touching the Shiv Linga in Baba Baidya Nath Dham Temple during Malmas which commenced from July 18. It has also sought to remove the CCTV camera kept inside the Garbh Grih.

Maha Mantri of Panda Dharam Rakshani Sabha Kartik Nath Thakur has released a video demanding the district administration to allow the pilgrims coming from Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan during ‘Malmas’ to offer special dices on Lord Shiva. Traditionally, the pilgrims from these states used to come during ‘Malmas’ and after offering special dices they break their fast. He has written a letter to the DC mentioning the discomfort faced by the pilgrims from these states.

On the other hand, the district administration on instructions given by the state govt has been keeping an external port at the gate of Garbh Grih to let a large number of pilgrims offer ‘Jalaparan’ without entering into small ‘Garbh Grih’. The purpose of clamping the ‘Argha’ is to facilitate a large number of pilgrims to at least offer Jalarapan without touching the Shiv Linga. Additionally, there is also one Argha kept in the Aangan of the temple premises.
