Dhanbad, July 29: Altogether 423 students selected through the Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) were enrolled at BIT Sindri after the 1st round of counselling which concluded on late evening of Friday.
BIT admission cell officials said that in two-days counselling which started on July 27, students were enrolled for B. Tech specializations in Mechanical Engineering (Mech) 70 , Electrical Engineering (Elect) 34 ‘ Production Engineering (Prod) 33 ,
Metallurgical Engineering (Met): one, Chemical Engineering (Chem) 5 , Civil Engineering (Civil) 71, Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) 3 ,
Mining Engineering (Mining): 4 , Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) 4, IT Engineering18.
“The enrolled students represent various engineering specializations and are set to embark on their academic journey under the esteemed guidance of the experienced faculty members at the institution,” said a cell official.
The counselling process was completed under the guidance of director Dr. (Prof) Ghanshyam Roy and dean Prof. Pankaj Rai.
