CRPF jawans take out Tricolor march at Chakradharpur in West Singhbhum

Jamshedpur, Aug 13: Marking the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence, the jawans of CRPF’s 60 battalion took out a Tricolor march at Chakradharpur in naxal-infested  West Singhbhum district on Sunday morning.

Carrying the Tricolor flags in hand, the jawans embarked upon the rally from the battalion’s headquarters at Asantalia in Chakradharpur and moved around the tiny township before reaching at Pawan Chowk.

At Pawan Chowk, the jawans who were on foot and also on motorcycles received felicitations from enthusiastic people gathered there.

On this occasion, the CRPF troopers distributed Tricolor flags to the people in a gesture to express their solidarity with the common men.

As the Tricolor march surged with resonating patriotic songs on the street, the ambience was filled with patriotism.

The Tricolor march, which was participated by the battalion’s second commanding officer V Toni and deputy commandant Mukesh Pandey ended at the battalion’s headquarters hours later.
