New Delhi, Aug 27: Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said that regarding the Braj Mandal Yatra on August 28, permission has not been given for the Yatra in Nuh. He said that earlier a violent incident took place during a religious yatra in Nuh. There is a need to be careful in this regard. He also said that everyone has the right to worship in temples and people will get relaxation according to their faith.
Khattar appealed to the people to avoid travelling and offer prayers in the temples present in their area. He added that it is the responsibility of the government to maintain the security system and the government is trying to maintain law and order.
Earlier even the administration had not given permission for the yatra. Section 144 has been imposed in Nuh. Schools, colleges and the internet are closed till 28 August.
Regarding the Braj Mandal Yatra in Nuh, Vishwa Hindu Parishad’s national spokesperson Vinod Bansal informed that the Yatra will start at 11 am on August 28. On Chief Minister Khattar not giving permission for the yatra, Bansal said that the question of taking permission does not arise. He further said that it is the last Monday of Sawan and every devotee has the right to do Jalabhishek of his deity. Vinod Bansal said that India is a pious country and no permission is required for any religious journey. He also asked whether permission is ever taken for Kumbh.
According to reports, CM Khattar had a meeting with DGP Shatrujit Kapoor and CID Chief ADGP Alok Mittal after the Vishwa Hindu Parishad announced that the Brajmandal Yatra would be taken out again in Nuh.
According to the information, the DGP has held a meeting with five border states and appealed to keep extra vigilance. Instructions have been issued to Haryana Police for daily monitoring on social media.
Haryana’s Home and Health Minister Anil Vij said if the yatra will take place then there is a complete arrangement for it as police are deployed in every area as well as RAF and paramilitary personnel have been deployed in the district and flag march will be taken out in the evening. Schools, colleges and other educational institutions will remain closed on 28 August. Apart from this, there is information about the closure of banks also.
