Jamshedpur: Body of youth found by roadside

Jamshedpur, Sept 24: A body was found on the side of the Garabasa Main Road under the jurisdiction of the Burmamines police station in Jamshedpur on Sunday morning. The deceased has been identified as Vishnu Singh (17), a resident of the East Plant Basti.

Upon receiving information about the incident, the police arrived at the scene and took possession of the body for post-mortem examination. The father of the deceased, Santosh Singh, mentioned that his son was addicted to drugs.

His health was unwell for some days. At 3 pm on Saturday afternoon, two of his friends had come home and took him with them.

When he did not return home till late at night, a search was made for him, but he was not found. In the morning someone informed that Vishnu’s body was lying on the roadside. At present the police is investigating the matter.
