New Delhi: On Thursday, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) announced the appointment of new state presidents for Bihar and Rajasthan. Rajya Sabha MP Madan Rathore has been named the state president of Rajasthan, while Dilip Jaiswal, a Member of the Legislative Council (MLC), will lead the party in Bihar.
Dilip Jaiswal, currently serving as the Revenue Land Reforms Minister in Bihar, has been an integral part of the party for two decades, holding the position of state treasurer. Additionally, he is the in-charge of the BJP in Sikkim and the Managing Director of Mata Gujri Memorial Medical College in Kishanganj.
The BJP has also made several other key appointments. Arvind Menon has been appointed as the state in-charge of Tamil Nadu and Lakshadweep, Harish Dwivedi of Assam, Rajdeep Roy of Tripura, Radha Mohan Das Agarwal of Rajasthan, and Atul Garg of Chandigarh.
These appointments come as part of the BJP’s strategic preparations for upcoming elections and organizational strengthening in various regions.
