Ranchi: Jharkhand Police and the Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) are gathering details about the properties and investments of notorious gangster Aman Sahu, his gang members, and close associates. Sources indicate that the police and ATS may initiate the process to seize all identified properties after completing their investigations.
Preliminary findings reveal that Aman Sahu has invested a significant amount of extorted money and levies into real estate and other immovable assets. He, along with his associates, has reportedly purchased properties in Ranchi, Hazaribagh, Ramgarh, Chatra, and Latehar districts, with some of these assets registered under the names of people in Patratu and Bundu, including certain white-collar individuals.
DGP Orders Action Against Aman Sahu Gang
Jharkhand’s coal traders have been repeatedly targeted by organized criminal syndicates, leading to widespread fear among the business community. Traders from Ranchi, Hazaribagh, Ramgarh, Chatra, and Latehar districts have been receiving constant threats. Those ignoring these warnings have faced violent attacks, including gunfire.
Following directives from the Director General of Police (DGP), a joint operation by Jharkhand Police, ATS, and CID has been launched to dismantle Aman Sahu’s criminal network.
