Ranchi: In strong opposition to the Pahalgam terror attack, hundreds from the Hindu community organized a protest march on Friday from District School to Albert Ekka Chowk. The protestors raised slogans against terrorism and paid tribute to the slain tourists through symbolic tableaux. At the end of the march, effigies of Pakistan and the terroristswere burned, and a public meeting was held at Albert Ekka Chowk.

“Not Just a Protest, But a Warning”: Bhairo Singh

Addressing the gathering, social activist Bhairo Singh said, “This is more than a protest — it is a warning from the Hindu society. If the Constitution still holds meaning, it is because of the strength of the Hindu community.”

He added, “We are fully capable of entering the homes of Pakistanis and terrorists and eliminating them.” Singh also called for strict government action against rising incidents of terrorism and alleged atrocities against women in West Bengal.

Anger Over Alleged Pro-Pakistan Comments

The protestors also expressed outrage over a statement allegedly issued by a man named Naushad, a madrasa teacher from Bokaro, who they claimed supported Pakistan. “At 33, he has tried to spread anti-national sentiment and provoked unrest in the area,” one speaker said.

Religious Targeting Condemned

The demonstrators claimed that terrorists had asked victims about their religion before shooting them during the Pahalgam attack. “There is a clear conspiracy to turn India into an Islamic state. We will never allow this to succeed,” one protestor said.
