New Delhi: One seat, two accidents, and two lives… is this just coincidence or something beyond explanation? The idea that an airplane seat can be lucky may sound strange, but when two separate plane crashes leave only one survivor each — both seated in 11A — it feels less like chance and more like a miracle. Thai actor Ruangsak Loychusak and British citizen Vishwesh Kumar Ramesh owe their survival to this very mysterious seat, forcing many to wonder if some mysteries lie beyond science and logic.
Ruangsak Stunned After Hearing About Ahmedabad Crash
When Ruangsak learned that India’s recent Air India crash left only one survivor, Vishwesh Kumar Ramesh, who was also seated in 11A — the same seat Ruangsak occupied during his own plane crash 27 years ago — he was stunned. This eerie coincidence brought back haunting memories of narrowly escaping death himself.
Prayers For The Victims, Says Ruangsak
In a social media post, Ruangsak wrote that the only survivor of India’s crash sat in the same seat 11A as he did in 1998. After his crash, Ruangsak had avoided flying for nearly a decade and has spoken openly about the trauma and survivor’s guilt he carries. He extended his condolences to the families who lost their loved ones in the Air India disaster, stating that he understands their pain deeply.
Ruangsak’s Escape 27 Years Ago
According to India Today, on December 11, 1998, 20-year-old Ruangsak was flying on Thai Airways flight TG261. As the plane attempted to land at Surat Thani Airport in southern Thailand, it crashed into a swamp. Out of 146 passengers, 101 lost their lives, but Ruangsak was among the few who miraculously survived.
Vishwesh Ramesh: Lone Survivor Among 242 Passengers
Last week, Air India’s Boeing Dreamliner crashed shortly after taking off from Ahmedabad airport. Of the 242 people on board, only one passenger — British citizen Vishwesh Ramesh — survived. Seated in emergency exit seat 11A, Ramesh was thrown out as the plane collided, which ultimately saved his life. Speaking from his hospital bed, Ramesh recalled, “For a moment I thought I would die. But when I woke up, I realized I was alive. I unbuckled myself and tried to get out wherever I could.”
Seat 11A Becomes Social Media Sensation
The uncanny similarity of both incidents, with the same seat number and miraculous survival, has left people worldwide amazed. Social media has been buzzing with discussions about seat 11A, with some travelers now even hoping to book 11A for their next flights.
Coincidence Or Something More?
Two countries, two devastating crashes, two sole survivors, and one seat — 11A. Is this pure coincidence? Or does seat 11A hold a mysterious story? This question now lingers in many minds, making 11A a symbol of mystery, miracles, and endless debate.
