Tejashwi’s ‘Voter Adhikar Yatra’ to Begin on August 17, Cover 23 Districts

Patna: The INDIA alliance will launch its Voter Adhikar Yatra on August 17 from Sasaram Railway Stadium in Rohtas, concluding on September 1 at Patna’s historic Gandhi Maidan.

Aim: Awareness on Voter List ‘Tampering’

The campaign aims to inform the public about alleged manipulation in the voter list by the Election Commission and highlight how processes like SIR could threaten democracy.

Route: 23 Districts in 16 Days

The yatra will travel through 23 districts of Bihar. On the first day, Rahul Gandhi and Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge will join. Leaders from all six INDIA bloc parties, including RJD’s Tejashwi Yadav, will actively participate. The final plan was approved during a meeting at Rahul Gandhi’s residence in Delhi on August 7.

  • Aug 17: Rohtas

  • Aug 18: Aurangabad

  • Aug 19: Gaya, Nalanda

  • Aug 21: Sheikhpura, Lakhisarai

  • Aug 22: Munger, Bhagalpur

  • Aug 23: Katihar

  • Aug 24: Purnia, Araria

  • Aug 26: Supaul, Madhubani

  • Aug 27: Darbhanga, Muzaffarpur

  • Aug 28: Sitamarhi, Motihari

  • Aug 29: Bettiah, Gopalganj, Siwan

  • Aug 30: Chhapra, Ara

  • Sep 1: Patna (conclusion)
