The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially announced that the 21st edition of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) will be conducted on February 8, 2025. The national-level examination will take place across 132 cities and be available in 20 different languages.

Exam Structure and Levels

The CTET examination will consist of two papers — Paper I and Paper II. Paper I is meant for candidates aspiring to teach at the primary level (Classes 1 to 5), while Paper II is designed for those seeking to teach at the upper primary level (Classes 6 to 8). Each paper will test candidates on teaching aptitude, subject knowledge, and educational methodology.

Official Notification and Application Details

According to CBSE, a detailed information bulletin covering the exam pattern, syllabus, languages, eligibility criteria, examination fees, city list, and key dates will soon be available on the official CTET website (https://ctet.nic.in). The board has urged candidates to download the bulletin only from the official site and read it carefully before applying.

Interested applicants must complete their online registration and submission process exclusively through the official website.
