The remastered version of SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali franchise, titled Baahubali The Epic, is roaring at the box office with impressive numbers since its re-release. Combining Baahubali: The Beginning (2015) and Baahubali: The Conclusion (2017) into one grand cut, the film has garnered ₹13.04 crore net in India within two days, reaffirming the franchise’s timeless appeal among fans.
Strong Opening and Day 2 Collection
According to early estimates from industry tracker Sacnilk, Baahubali The Epic earned ₹2.64 crore on its second day from morning shows, following a powerful opening of ₹10.4 crore on Day 1. The film’s total Indian business now stands near the ₹15 crore mark. Among regional audiences, the Telugu version led with 37.34% occupancy, followed by Tamil (29.48%), while the Hindi version saw 7.95% occupancy during morning screenings.
Re-Edited Experience and Global Release
Produced by Arka Media Works, this special cut of Baahubali The Epic runs for about 3 hours and 45 minutes, featuring refined sequences for a seamless experience. Starring Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, and Tamannaah Bhatia, the re-release revisits the legendary saga of Mahishmati, its epic battles, and the heroic rise of Amarendra Baahubali. The film was released in over 1,150 theatres worldwide, including 400+ screens in the US and 210 in the UK and Ireland, along with releases in the UAE, Australia, and Southeast Asia.

Globally, Baahubali The Epic made a ₹19 crore worldwide collection on its opening day, including ₹6.5 crore from overseas markets. The film surpassed the re-release openings of Vijay’s Ghilli, Mahesh Babu’s Khaleja, and other recent hits, underlining Rajamouli’s enduring box-office dominance. Fans have celebrated the film’s return, praising its enhanced visuals and nostalgic impact.
