Patna: After the NDA’s historic landslide victory in the 2025 Bihar Assembly Elections, JD(U) MP Sanjay Jha met Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Saturday and said the alliance has accepted the people’s verdict with great humility.
‘These Five Years Are Dedicated To Bihar’s Youth’
Speaking after the meeting, Sanjay Jha said, “We have received a huge mandate. The entire NDA and JD(U) accept this mandate with humility. Our leader and the entire alliance will ensure that every promise made in the manifesto is fulfilled. These next five years are dedicated to the youth — we have pledged one crore jobs and employment opportunities.”
He added that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had called on investors to come to Bihar, describing it as a proud and transformative moment for the state. “In 20 years, Nitish Kumar has laid a strong foundation. Now Bihar is ready for a leap. The next five years will see Bihar among the top 10 states in India,” Jha asserted.
