Ranchi: The winter session of the Jharkhand Assembly will commence on December 5 and continue till December 11, with a total of five working days. Four of these days will include Question Hour. The second supplementary budget for the financial year 2025–26 will be presented on December 8. MLAs can submit their questions in the Assembly portal starting today, November 19.
Key Dates And Agenda Details
On the opening day, December 5, the session will begin with obituary references and the oath-taking of newly elected Ghatsila MLA Somesh Chandra Soren. The supplementary budget will be tabled on December 8. On December 9, after Question Hour and Zero Hour, a general discussion will be held on the supplementary budget. Four days of the session will feature Question Hour, allowing legislators to raise queries before the government.
Legislative Business And Holidays
December 10 and 11 will be reserved for discussion on government bills and other official business. The final day will also include consideration of private members’ resolutions. The Assembly will remain closed on December 6 and 7 due to the weekend holidays.
