New Delhi: The National Investigation Agency has arrested a Faridabad resident identified as Soyab for allegedly harbouring terrorist Umar Un Nabi shortly before the November 10 car bomb attack near the Red Fort, which claimed multiple lives and left several others injured.
Logistical Support Provided to the Bomber
According to the NIA, Soyab — a resident of Dhauj in Faridabad, Haryana — sheltered Umar and provided logistical assistance immediately ahead of the explosion. This makes him the seventh person arrested in connection with the terror attack. Investigators believe Soyab’s support played a critical role in enabling Umar to execute the bombing.
Nationwide Search for Wider Terror Network
The NIA previously arrested six other close aides of Umar during its ongoing probe into case RC-21/2025/NIADLI. The agency continues to trace leads across multiple states in collaboration with local police to identify the remaining members of the suicide bombing plot. Officials stated that efforts are active to uncover the full conspiracy and track all individuals linked to planning, execution, and support of the Delhi terror attack.
