Despite repeated critical remarks from Pakistan against the film Dhurandhar, a viral video emerging from across the border has surprised many by showcasing the movie’s growing popularity there, highlighting the film’s cross-border cultural impact.

Spy Thriller Draws Attention Beyond Borders

Dhurandhar, directed by Aditya Dhar, tells the story of an Indian spy who penetrates deep into terrorist networks in Pakistan to dismantle them. Ranveer Singh plays the lead role of the Indian intelligence operative. While the film faced opposition in Pakistan due to its storyline, the latest viral clip suggests a contrasting ground reality.

Viral Video From Pakistan Creates Stir

The video, widely shared on social media, is reportedly from a public function in Pakistan where people are seen enjoying and dancing to a popular song from Dhurandhar. Pakistan Peoples Party leader Bilawal Bhutto is visible seated on the stage, while the film’s background music—used during Akshaye Khanna’s entry scene—plays in the background. The track, reportedly by a Bahrain-based rapper featured in the film, has now become a talking point online.

Strong Box Office Performance Continues

Apart from Ranveer Singh, the film features Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, and Sara Arjun in key roles, all of whom have received praise for their performances. Within just 12 days of release, Dhurandhar has reportedly earned around ₹411 crore at the box office. Trade estimates suggest the film may cross ₹450 crore by the upcoming weekend and could soon enter the ₹500 crore club if the momentum continues.
