Ranbir Kapoor has revealed in a recent interview that his daughter Raha Kapoor has made a small cameo in “Ramayana,” which is set to release in theatres on November 5.
Raha Shot a Scene with Sai Pallavi and Ravi Dubey
Ranbir said Raha came to the film’s set and gave a shot with Sai Pallavi (Sita) and Ravi Dubey (Lakshman). She often visited the set and is very interested in stories from the Ramayana. Ranbir said he is very happy that “Ramayana” will show his daughter Raha on screen.
Rs 4,000-Crore Budget for Both Parts
Nitesh Tiwari’s “Ramayanam” is among the biggest-budget films in Indian cinema. About Rs 4,000 crore is reportedly being spent on both parts, with the first part’s budget said to be around Rs 2,000 crore. The film has been made on a grand scale, with extensive work on its visual effects.
Cast and Crew
Ranbir Kapoor plays Lord Ram and Sai Pallavi plays Sita, while Yash plays Ravana, Ravi Dubey plays Lakshman and Sunny Deol plays Hanuman. Rakul Preet Singh, Lara Dutta, Sheeba Chadha, Vivek Oberoi and Arun Govil also play key roles. The film is directed by Nitesh Tiwari and produced by Namit Malhotra.
