Ranchi: On the occasion of National Voters’ Day 2026, Pakur Deputy Commissioner Manish Kumar will be honored with the ‘Best Election District Award’. The award will be presented to him by the President of India at a national-level ceremony.
State-Level Event in Ranchi on January 25
A state-level celebration will also take place on January 25, 2026, at 12 PM in the Aryabhatta Auditorium, Ranchi University Campus. The event will be graced by Jharkhand State Election Commissioner Alka Tiwari as the chief guest.
Other Officials to Be Felicitated
Several officials who have contributed significantly to electoral duties will be recognized. Awardees include West Singhbhum DC Chandan Kumar, Sahebganj DC Hemant Sati, and Pakur DC Manish Kumar.
Others being honored are Joint Chief Electoral Officer Subodh Kumar, Giridih Deputy Electoral Officer Ranthu Mahato, and Garhwa Deputy Electoral Officer Sushil Kumar Rai.
Recognition Across Constituencies and Departments
Additional honorees include Sunil Chandra (Returning Officer of 45-Ghatshila ST Assembly Constituency), Ravi Kumar (Electoral Registration Officer of 15-Deoghar SC Assembly Constituency), and Sunil Kumar Singh (Under Electoral Officer, Headquarters). From the Chief Electoral Officer’s Office, Chandan Kumar and Ashutosh Ranjanwill also receive awards.
