Ranchi: The Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) management has clarified that two upcoming events listed on BookMyShow for February 4 and 7, 2026, falsely mention RIMS Auditorium as the venue. Terming the listing factually incorrect and misleading, RIMS has disassociated itself entirely from both events.

No Booking or Association with Listed Events

According to the RIMS administration, there is no booking of the auditorium on the mentioned dates, nor is the institute in any way associated—directly or indirectly—with these events. The unauthorized use of RIMS Auditorium as a listed venue without prior permission violates institutional norms.

Formal Complaint Sent to BookMyShow

RIMS has initiated formal communication with BookMyShow via email, requesting immediate correction of the misleading listings. The events in question are linked to personalities Anubhav Singh Bassi and Acharya Prashant, which could cause confusion among the public.

Public Advisory to Prevent Confusion and Loss

With ticket sales for these events already underway, RIMS has issued this public notice in the interest of preventing misinformation, inconvenience, or financial loss to attendees. The institution has urged citizens to verify venue details independently before attending any such program.
