Ranchi: A sensational security scare has emerged from Jharkhand’s capital after Ranchi Civil Court received a bomb threat through an email sent to the court’s official mail ID, prompting immediate action from police and security agencies.

Security Tightened Across Court Premises

Following the threat, the administration went into emergency mode and strengthened security across the entire court campus. Strict checking has been started for everyone entering or leaving the premises, and police deployment has been increased at key gates and sensitive areas.

Bihar Connection Found in Initial Probe

During the preliminary investigation, officials found that the same email ID used to send the threat to Ranchi Civil Court was also used to issue threats to important institutions in several districts of Bihar, including Kaimur. Police teams are now investigating the wider network behind the threat.
