Bollywood actor Govinda is set to make a comeback to the big screen after a long gap, announcing two new films, “Roopa” and “Duniyadari,” at a recent press conference, where he revealed he would take on the roles of both actor and producer, while newcomer Rani Swarnakar is set to make her Bollywood debut through these projects.
Govinda Opens Up About Career Struggles and Comeback
During the press conference, Govinda spoke candidly about the ups and downs of his film career, revealing that he had been overlooked at times, with some even suggesting he would never make a comeback to films. However, he said he never gave up hope. Govinda said he was starting afresh and prayed that the film would create the kind of magic audiences could not even imagine, adding that it was being made specifically with young audiences in mind and that he was confident viewers would love it.
Govinda Explains Significance of His Lucky Number 14
At the press conference, Govinda also spoke about his belief in numerology and the special significance the number 14 has held throughout his life. He said he had believed in numerology since the age of 14, recalling that by God’s grace he had once signed 14 films in a single week, followed by a 14-year run of superstardom, after which he became a Member of Parliament in the 14th Lok Sabha, and later went through roughly 14 years of struggle in his career.
