Giridih: Following the death of Jharkhand government minister and Giridih Sadar MLA Sudivya Kumar Sonu, his son Shreyash immersed his father’s ashes in the Barakar River on Monday, bidding him a final farewell amid full religious rites and an emotional atmosphere.

Sudivya Kumar Sonu’s sudden demise has left Giridih and the wider state of Jharkhand in mourning. Following his death on Sunday, his last rites were conducted in his home constituency of Giridih, where a large number of people gathered to pay their final respects, bidding him farewell with tearful eyes.
