Ranchi: The landless poor in the state will soon get the benefit of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. 1045 people are included in the waiting list of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Rural). Those who are not getting the benefit of pucca house due to lack of land. Now they will be able to get the benefit of the scheme soon. The Rural Development Department has identified the families living on government land since 1985. In order to provide land to such landless families, the Rural Development Department has written a letter to the Revenue Registration and Land Reforms Department, Jharkhand.
After the consent of the Revenue Department, the dream of the house of landless families will be realized. Let us inform that due to non-availability of land with 1045 families of the state, the names are included in the list of housing scheme under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Rural). But due to non-availability of land, their house is not being constructed.
Government has identified 865 families
Those families living on government land since 1985, which have been identified by the government, will be made available to them under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. In which 18 of Bokaro, 76 of Chatra district, 6 of Dumka, East Singhbhum 76, Godda 64, Hazaribagh 11, Jamtara 12, Koderma 4, Palamu 31, Ramgarh 6, Ranchi 10, 795 landless families in Sahebganj Are included.
Application pending of 229 families
The process of allotting land to 229 landless families is under process at various levels of the district. After its execution, 229 families will be constructed houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. Of these, 2 applications are pending at DC level in Ranchi district. While three applications are pending with LRDC level and circle officer, 5 applications are still pending. Under the process of providing housing to landless families in Jamtara district, 12 applications are pending at LRDC level. In Godda district, 11 SDOs are pending at SDO level, 8 BDO and 45 are pending at CO level.
