Ranchi: The government has given great relief to the poor children studying in class 9th and 10th. The government has decided that now students studying in government schools of Jharkhand will be given free books every year. The Hemant cabinet has approved this proposal of the Higher Education Department. With this decision of the government, drop out from schools will decrease. The Hemant cabinet has approved 19 proposals on Tuesday.
Cabinet’s seal on these proposals
- Collectorate building will be built in Garhwa at a cost of 53 crores.
- 109 crore will be spent in electrification of 246 villages under Deendayal Upadhyaya Gram Jyoti Yojana.
- Under the NEPCC of the Ministry of Jal Shakti, there will be an agreement with NIH Roorkee for the action plan of the state.
- Centrally sponsored schemes of Women and Child Development Department got extension till 31 March 2022.
- The term of the State Law Commission has been extended from 14.11.2019 to 13.11.2021.
- Cabinet seal on promulgation of Jharkhand Goods and Services Tax Amendment Ordinance 2021.
- Approval of draft of Motor Vehicles Rules 2021.
- After enrollment for training in Government Industrial Training Institutes, it will cost Rs 500 instead of 50.
