Chaibasa: Loans of 15,600 farmers of West Singhbhum will be waived, for which an amount of about 65 crores has been earmarked. Along with this, the closed mines of West Singhbhum will also be opened, the process of which has started. These things were said by Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren while addressing a program organized at Pillai Hall in Chaibasa.
Chaibasa bypass will also be built soon at a cost of 250 crores
He said that the Chaibasa bypass would also be constructed at the earliest, on which Rs 250 crore would be spent. This project will be done by the central government. He said that a road connecting Jharkhand and Odisha would also be constructed soon. In which road will be ready named Haldia Express.
It is the responsibility of all of us to stop ACC from being closed.
He appreciated the work being done by ACC. Also said that in 2012 also during my Chief Minister’s tenure, many appointment letters were distributed. Now I got the good fortune that once again I got the opportunity to distribute the appointment letter. He said that the company is established since 1945, which is the responsibility of all of us to stop it from closing. He also thanked the Rungta Group for the construction of Pillai Hall under CSR. He said that steel industry would also be constructed in West Singhbhum soon. New factories will be opened soon, protecting the social and cultural heritage. He also encouraged the players involved in Tokyo and said that they will not be allowed to lack facilities and prize money. He said that Jharkhand is known for its mineral wealth but now the world will know it even with the talent of sports.
The dilapidated roads will be repaired, the construction of the remaining playgrounds will be done soon.

He said that work is also being done prominently in the state regarding employment, in which many farmers were benefitted by planting fruit trees in West Singhbhum. A sports ground has also been constructed. A total of 724 grounds are planned to be constructed in the district under the Poto Ho scheme. In which 114 grounds have been completed. The rest of the ground will be constructed soon. The distribution of assets was also done in the program. During this, Chaibasa MLA Deepak Biruva, MP Geeta Koda, Jagannathpur MLA Sonaram Sinku, Chakradharpur MLA Sukhram Oraon also addressed the program. A large number of officials including Vice Chancellor of Kolhan University, Professor Gangadhar Panda, Deputy Commissioner, West Singhbhum, Annay Mittal, SP Ajay Linda, Sadar SDPO, Chakradharpur SDPO Nathu Singh Meena were present on the occasion.
