Ranchi, Sept.24: From ordinary men to VIPs no one is safe in the state, observed BJP state president and Rajya Sabha MP Deepak Prakash during a visit to the residence of his party worker Jeetram Munda who was shot dead on Wednesday evening at Ormanjhi.
He said that the law and order of the state has derailed and the BJP workers are being targeted. Batons are used in their peaceful demonstration and party workers are implicated in false cases, he further said.
Expressing his solidarity with the family members of Munda he said none of the party workers will sit silently till the murderer is arrested. He said that the party will soon mount pressure on the state government and police officials to nab the culprit.
He also demanded a CBI probe into the matter saying the Munda was an emerging leader and a ray of hope for the BJP. His murder, he said, is not a loss to the family of Munda alone but for the BJP also.
