Ranchi, Sept 27: Due to the ongoing dispute between Mayor Asha Lakra and the corporation officials, the meeting of the Municipal Corporation called today could not be held. Before the meeting, the officials started a ruckus. Officials said that they are hurt by the objectionable words the mayor has used for them. Therefore, until the mayor withdraws her words, the proceedings of the meeting will not start.
Along with this, some counselors also came down in favour of the officers and started a ruckus. After this, the officials boycotted the meeting and left the conference room.
On the other hand, the mayor said that it was a slip of tongue, and withdrew her words. Although, she appealed to the officials to start the meeting, but the officials did not agree.
