Vaccination campaign got a big success, country is moving ahead with new energy, says PM Modi

New Delhi, Oct 24: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday lauded India’s landmark achievement of 100 crore COVID-19 vaccinations and said that the success of the country’s vaccination programme shows the potential and power of the mantra of everyone’s efforts. He also acknowledged the contribution of healthcare workers in the country’s vaccination programme.

PM also said that the new drone policy in the country is already showing great results and highlighted that India is one of the first countries in the world, which is preparing digital records of land in its villages with the help of drones.

While addressing the monthly radio programme, ‘Mann Ki Baat’ PM said on Sunday that “India has always worked for world peace. The country has been participating in UN peacekeeping Missions since 1950. We are also playing a leading role in poverty alleviation, climate change and issues related to laborers”.

Remembering former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Modi said that Vajpayee ji had created history by addressing the UN General Meeting in Hindi. He still shows way to move forward and he is an inspiration to every Indian.

PM also emphasized on the ‘Vocal for Local’ campaign while shopping for the upcoming festive season and requested countrymen to take a pledge to ensure cleanliness in the neighborhood.
