Mumbai, Oct 27: A five member team of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) reached Mumbai on Wednesday to probe allegations of corruption levelled by Prabhakar Sail, a witness in the cruise drug party case.
The team is led by Deputy Director General (DDG) of NCB Gyaneshwar Singh and four other NCB officers. Notably, Prabhakar Rohoji Sail alleged that Wankhede and Gosavi took Rs 50 lakh from an individual after the raid. However, both denied the allegations.

Earlier today, Mumbai police appointed an ACP-level officer to investigate the allegations levelled against NCB Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede.
