Ramgarh, Oct.30: The Punjab Regimental Centre (PRC) showcased its latest batch of 237 passing out young soldiers on Saturday. The Young Soldier course 168, having completed one year of laborious training were attested today at an immaculate display parade at Kilahari drill square of PRC.
The parade by the newly inducted soldiers of the regiment looked spectacular as they marched on ‘Antim Pag’ with the tune of ‘Kadam Kadam Badhaye Jaa’ played by the Regimental Band.
The attestation parade that depicts the graduation of a recruit and his transformation into a young soldier was reviewed by senior officials of PRC. The ceremony was conducted as per all norms and advisories issued in view of COVID-19 pandemic.
On this occasion, the reviewing officer congratulated the young soldiers and urged them to dedicate their life in service to the nation as proud soldiers of the Indian Army. He also presented medals and awards to the outstanding young soldiers for their excellent performance during the training.
