New Delhi, Nov 6: Delhi’s air quality remains in the “hazardous” category in several parts of the city, with the air quality index (AQI) at 533 at 6 am on Saturday.
On Saturday, the PM10 levels at Connaught Place and Jantar Mantar stood at 654 and 382 respectively. Meanwhile, PM2.5 levels were at 628 in Connaught Place, 341 near Jantar Mantar, and 374 near ITO, according to ANI.

According to RK Jenamani, deputy general manager (DGM), Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), the visibility in Delhi is in poor condition. However, the AQI level will improve.
Meanwhile, Sahid Kapoor’s wife Mira Rajput expressed her disappointment over Delhi’s poor air quality. Taking to Instagram Story, she wrote,” This can’t be my home….Please let’s do our bit. Don’t burn crackers, segregate your waste and support groups that are creating awareness about the stubble burning”. She also shared a picture of skyline covered in smog.
The air quality in Delhi would not improve until Sunday evening. The improvement would however, just fluctuate in the very poor category, informed the Centre-run System of Air Quality and Weather Forecasting and Research (SAFAR).
