Ramgarh, Dec.18: BJP MP Jayant Sinha addressed the people of the Hazaribagh Lok Sabha constituency at a press conference on Saturday. The MP expressed worry over the problem of electricity in the state.

He said that the everyday lives of people who run tiny businesses to those working/having large corporations are affected because of electricity problems, yet the government of Jharkhand is sleeping with oil in its ears. “The Chief Minister is only seen shining his face. The people are forced to face the double whammy of the electrical department and the state government in such a case,” he said.

He said that, on the one hand, the farmers are facing irrigation problems while on the other hand the students are not able to study, small scale industries are not able to run their industries smoothly.

He also said that he is in constant communication with Union Energy Minister RK Singh about the DVC and the state government’s electricity arrears, and that he would bring the people’s problems to the state government’s attention.

A few days ago, MP Sinha in a special meeting with the Railway Minister Ashwin Vaishnav had a fruitful discussion on various railway subjects related to the parliamentary constituency.

“We always get cooperation from the Prime Minister and the Railway Minister for the enhancement of railway facilities in Hazaribagh. I am constantly discussing with the Railway Minister the progress of railway services in the region.  I am striving for better facilities for the residents of the area and the Hazaribagh Railway continues to progress,” the MP said.

Talking about the Buddhist monastery mentioned by the Archaeological Department located in Berhmanpur village of Sitagarh, the MP has suggested converting it as a religious tourist place and preserving the idols found there by making a museum in Hazaribagh during the winter session of Lok Sabha.

The MP also discussed the Omicron variant of Coronavirus.  He urged the people of Hazaribagh along with the entire countrymen that they need to be alert with the new variant. He asked everyone to follow the Covid protocols strictly.
