Ranchi, Dec 18: Ranchi district administration has failed to track down the active covid patients in the district. According to the district administration report of Friday, there are a total of 70 positive patients in the district.

While taking a rough survey of the covid hospitals in the district it was found that there is no covid patient in Samford, Orchid and Medica Hospital of the district which has beds for covid positive patients. While two corona-infected 24-year-old and 50-year-old women admitted to RIMS have recovered. At the same time, a patient admitted to Health Point Hospital on Bariatu Road has also become negative and one is still admitted to Sadar Hospital Ranchi.

The new variant of the coronavirus, Omicron, has knocked in 12 states of the country in 16 days and already 123 patients have been found.

At the same time, State Health Minister Banna Gupta is boasting about testing and tracking, counting his preparations to deal with Omicron, but in the Ranchi district, 66 active patients of Corona are out of the reach of the district administration.

On the other hand, the Health Minister said in a programme organized at Sadar Hospital that the state government is on alert regarding Omicron. Therefore, the department is tracking people coming to Jharkhand for testing and getting infected, but even the Health Minister does not know where the corona patients found in the state’s capital are.

Ranchi SDM Deepak Dubey was contacted on this matter, while saying that he was in the meeting, he talked about providing information after the meeting. On calling again, he did not answer the phone.
